Outerspace Industrial Design has developed a four-step design process: We consider the situation, create the ideas, build the solutions and deliver results. While product development for each client and every project is different, our proven process consistently leads to successful products. 1. Consider

Working closely with our clients, Outerspace applies the skills and experience of our diverse team of experts to identify the factors that will drive the success of each project.

In creating a development plan we consider critical aspects such as the initial project briefing, our client’s aims, corporate culture and brand, the manufacturing potential, market conditions and most importantly, the end-user.

2. Create

After carefully considering and planning each project, our product development team commences the creative process. Drawing inspiration from an extensive range of skills and experience, our team explores design directions that lead to interesting, innovative and often surprising results.

3. Build

We pride ourselves on building inspiring design solutions to time and budget.

Through using the latest in 3D CAD software, physical prototyping and utilising an international supplier network, we manage an extensive selection of project builds. These range anywhere from plastic form-based products to complex medical diagnostic equipment.

In building our solutions we focus on validating the design throughout the whole phase. Simulation software highlights potential problems, allowing us to verify performance and assembly criteria and avoid costly situations.

4. Deliver
